Intro
T65.care is a small independent insurance agency that had just opened its doors in early 2023 and were looking to get a handcrafted logo and a "beginner" marketing set of services for their new business (branding, logo design, business cards, presentation deck, brochure, direct mailer, medal design). Since they were in a rush to quickly launch a website to take advantage of all the sporting events and opportunities taking place earlier on in the year, the client decided to hire a separate entity called Brightfire to manage the actual website creation and management, while we would manage the branding and marketing components, as well as attend all meetings with the Brightfire team to provide support and ensure that the website was moving forward, while staying within brand guidelines.

T65.care is a Medicare agency serving the senior community of New York City and Dutchess County, New York. They offer personalized Medicare insurance options and educational resources to support the unique needs and lifestyles of active seniors. As an organization that values health and fitness, they also support local sporting events and award the Vitality Medal™ to seniors who participate, in an effort to promote healthy living and community engagement.
T65.care hired us in February 2023 to create their logo at first. We learned that their name stems from “T65”, an industry acronym for “turning 65”, the age that Americans become eligible for Medicare insurance. Since the organization values health and fitness (namely marathons, triathlons, etc), I was inspired by the three main triathlon events – swimming, cycling, and running – and wanted to incorporate those concepts to serve as a distinguishing feature and fundamental aspect of the brand. The main logo of the cyclist is meant to depict both the “t” and “65” in their company name, while the other two graphics (see image below) are variations of the original.
After around 2 weeks, we finalized the logo and began working on the design of the Vitality Medal™, a custom medal created by T65.care to honor seniors who participate in health/fitness/sporting events. Then we shifted gears to digital collateral, like presentations and Medicare brochures. We also designed direct mailers, with thoughtful silver accents in the printing process to add a sophisticatedly bold touch, among other branded print materials like their business cards. We have access to their social media (LikedIn) account and website for support and are on retainer for additional services when needed, along with their annual request for us to design the theme of each upcoming year's Vitality Medal™.

T65.care employed an online service called Brightfire, one of the leading insurance website design and digital marketing providers in the United States, to create their website and deliver digital marketing solutions tailored for independent insurance agencies. I was included in all the meetings to provide additional design direction and support for the visual elements on the website since I had created all of T65.care's branding, including their logo, color palette, font selection, graphic elements, etc. The website took around 2 months to complete, from beginning to launch.
